Variable Weights
Some products, such as meat and fish, are sold in variable weights and supplied within a range (e.g. ‘x to y’). To manage this and integrate with Acquire, special configurations can be added to the purchase line product to enable this functionality.

Create Units for variable weighed products
Where a product is supplied in a variable weight for example between 2-4kg create a unit in this format with the weight set at the maximum, in this example 4000g / 4kg

Named: Order as Each?’

Purchase Line Setup

Create Purchase Lines that use the variable weight unit within the supplier table

Set the 'Order as Each?' tag to be enabled within the Tags tab
